Covering the weeks around what would have been his 100th birthday, The Hive in the heart of Worcester is hosting a retrospective of John's life and works.  John's work was mainly large site specific commissions, so displaying these finished pieces is impossible .  This retrospective will draw together the strands that make the sculptor: the concept and design, the sketches and the maquettes (models) which are the foundation of the finished piece.  These will be supplemented with archive photographs that show the labour of a sculptor that seeks to reflect the sustained output of 60 years of practice.
